Having moved to Northern Michigan over 30 years ago, I quickly embraced the slower pace of life, and formed a deep respect for the untouched natural beauty of the environment. For me, photography is a heartfelt way to connect people with the natural beauty of the region. I’m honored to see my work gracing the covers and interiors of magazines such as Michigan Home and Lifestyle, and Traverse Bay Lifestyles with images that reflect my love for Northern Michigan and the seasonal moods that define our Great Lakes region. I am joyously married to my husband of 36 years, and am the proud mother of three adult daughters, two fabulous sons-in-law, and an incredible grandson who holds my heart in his tiny hands. My youngest daughter, who has special needs, oftentimes accompanies me on photographic adventures on accessible trails and some rather bumpy, non-accessible trails too if truth be told! The support of my family and close friends, who I refer to as my champions, drives me and fuels my passion to capture special moments and beautiful Michigan scenery that remind everyone to slow down, breathe, and soak it all in.
